Are you passionate about health and wellbeing? Human health, animal health, the health of the environment, and the planet? Do you want to help those around you in a broad and meaningful manner? Do you love interdisciplinary collaboration among different fields of study? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then SOHA—the Student One Health Association—is the club for you!

SOHA is dedicated to the idea, implementation, and practice of One Health, an interdisciplinary collaboration bringing together human health, environmental health, and animal health to improve health and wellbeing globally.

Success for SOHA requires a coalition of the willing and able from all disciplines: engineering, social & cultural fields, the built environment, natural sciences/environmental studies, human health, animal health, and more. The association provides an opportunity to learn about addressing health issues from a variety of perspectives from policy to community-based work and provides opportunities to address these health challenges together, through study and service.

Again, you do NOT need to be in a health science-related field to participate! One Health is all about improving our environment, our communities, and the health of people and animals around us and around the world, and there are so many ways people in any discipline can contribute to that!

All are welcome at our informational meeting about SOHA.
